ApplicationDatabase Engineer

Responsible for the implementation design documentation of the database that include the build plan, development and design of database strategies, monitoring and improving the overall performance and capacity while planning for future expansion needs. This position will require specific technical experience with Oracle and should bring seven years of experience working within the oracle environment and may require a BS degree or specific certification. Experience in DB2 and SQL Server are also beneficial.

Resource is primarily needed for documentation building to hand over to DBAs during the project process. This team designsengineers how the databases will be laid onto the servers and any build needs.
